Come Dine with me .... My dinner

This mornings post was icky, I wrote it, because I think it is important.  But I don't want it to be there as the first entry to my "Home" page.  Though I don't normally do more than one post per day. I am going to do it today. Just to get rid of that horrible icky post as the top one on my page.


So some inspiration for my Come Dine with me Dinner:

I bought a lot of stuff last year from City Mob (on the shopping site page), for Christmas, but did not use much of it.  We were mid move and mid packing, so we did minimal decorations, and did not have Christmas lunch at ours so I have most of this stuff in my organised Christmas box.

I don't like mince pies, but I can use them to stick in the little desserts :)

Crackers as part of the table decor, Every Christmas table needs crackers. 

                                      

I think MZ would die if i had to serve food on paper plates! I totally wont don't fear, so I wont use them.  I am thinking I can maybe use the paper cups though for the eggnog? And the cake decor kit, can maybe go over the leg of lamb? 

I think step one is to go haul the Christmas loot out of the storage and start digging in.  I cant wait to see what treasures I find. 

Also anyone have an easy simple eggnog recipe?
