I will be the stay at home mom who cares for my family kind of super hero!
One of my Pinterest boards is called "Dream Box" and one of the pins in there is this one:
I really think that it was a simpler time when wives and mommies stayed at home, looked after their husbands and children. Spent time making their homes pretty and making life good for her family.
I don't think that women should not have a say / not be able to vote / not be able to work / be looked down on etc. I just think life is better when you have a women to take of the family. In my opinion! I would love to run my family budget, make things, DIY, cook, bake, clean, wash, fold (no ironing - seriously I draw the line at ironing)....
I really want this so much, but at the same time I love the fact that we have a good income. We can go on holiday, have a nice house, have nice things and Kai can have many opportunities which he won't have if I end up staying at home. But then again does he need it. Do I need the toys? Do I need all the tons of things I buy ... Does Kai need all the expensive stuff he has and never plays with.....Can we do with less?
I don't know. It's a post for another day anyway.
