Home is where the mountain is ...

I am one insanely lucky girl and I know it.
I live in one of the most amazing and beautiful cities in the world.
Every morning I drive toward this breathtaking site:

Our flat mountain... Table Mountain. Go on, go Google it if you have never seen it or heard of it. Be warned though, your breath will be taken away!

Yep we have our problems.  Lots of them.  Crime, corruption, etc.  But people I get to see this E.V.E.R.Y day.  It is damn hard to give up.

I have traveled a bit.  And I love it. I love exploring, learning, and seeing how the "other half lives" but when the big metal bird in the sky takes it turn over this mountain, and the hostess says, "welcome to cape town ladies and gentle man",  my heart melts every times, and I almost get a bit emotional,  I know I am home.

Came Town has a lot of History.  South Africa has.  We don't have the buildings that are so old that you almost can't imagine it is still standing like Europe.  But we have things like this mountain.  We have Robben Island.  If you ever come to CAPE TOWN and you totally should! visit the museum, at Robben Island it rocks. Go to the top of table mountain.  Go on a wine tour in Stellenbosch and taste some awesome kick-a$$ wine.  Go have Ice cream on the promenade in Sea Point.

We have a different history here.  A people history.

I love this place.  It is home.  I was born here. I might have to leave someday, because things are ruff.  But my heart will always, always be right here, on the top of that flat mountain!

Now all we need is TARGET! :)
